Now you're almost ready to set off. But before you do, you should
give your vehicle another thorough once-over to make sure everything's ready for the road – check your oil level, lights, tyre pressures etc. In some cases a pre-journey inspection may be a good idea, too. You should also check your essential accessories for the journey, such as for instance the toolkit, spare wheel, towing bar, jump start kit, fuses, torch, extension cable and the freshwater hose or water canister.

For safer, more relaxed travel: make sure you have a safe trip by immobilising or stowing away both movable vehicle parts and your luggage and other items.
