When you take the wheel of the G-Class, you have already delegated some of the key tasks. Thanks to a whole host of reliable electronic aids which are activated in critical situations. If there is a risk of the vehicle skidding, for example, the Electronic Stability Program (ESP®) kicks in. It restricts the engine torque, applies the brakes at one or more wheels and thus stabilises the vehicle.

In the event of an emergency stop, Brake Assist (BAS) provides the necessary brake pressure. At the same time the anti-lock braking system (ABS) developed and modified especially for the G-Class and the 4ETS electronic traction system for all-wheel drive vehicles assist you so that even in emergency situations you can remain in control of your G-Class.
