The GLK provides plenty of listening enjoyment when you’re on the move. You can choose between three high-end audio systems.

The Audio 20 CD radio features a 12.7 cm colour display, an MP3-compatible CD player, an optional 6-disc CD changer, and a Bluetooth® interface.

The optional Audio 50 APS combines precision 2D map navigation, including TMC automatic traffic alerts, with entertainment systems such as the DVD drive and radio.

With the optional COMAND APS multimedia system you'll reach your destination fully relaxed and without detours. It combines audio settings with a telephone and navigation system.

The optimised control concept makes it easier to use and more intuitive than ever. And the swivelling 17.8 cm colour display is positioned at the same height as the instrument cluster and within the driver’s field of vision.

COMAND APS can be controlled either via an input pad in the centre console, using the multifunction steering wheel or via the controller in front of the armrest. All key functions can also be accessed using voice control: the optional LINGUATRONIC voice-operated control system (part of Audio 50 APS with 6-disc DVD changer, and the COMAND APS system) lets you access numerous on-board functions using spoken commands. This allows you to concentrate fully on traffic while driving both safely and comfortably.

An integrated Bluetooth® interface also provides safe hands-free operation using the mobile phone. The DVD player plays CDs and MP3 files as well as video and audio DVDs. The navigation system hard drive can store up to 6 GB of MP3 songs. And using the PCMCIA slot and external media, unlimited additional memory capacity can be added.

The optional Harman Kardon® Logic 7® surround-sound system with Dolby Digital 5.1 and 510 W output turns every journey into an acoustic experience. With twelve high-performance speakers and Logic 7® multi-channel technology, you'll feel as though you're in a concert hall – wherever you're sitting. And as you drive, the volume automatically adjusts according to the speed of your vehicle.

As an option, the front-seat head restraints can be furnished with 20.3 cm monitors for watching DVDs. The innovative rear-seat entertainment system consists of a DVD player, two high-resolution TFT colour displays and two sets of headphones. All functions can be operated by remote control.
