The optional bi-xenon headlamps with integrated cornering light function, fog lamps and LED daytime driving lights not only illuminate the road and surrounding area better: on activating the turn indicator, the fog lamp on the corresponding side is switched on (cornering light function). This lamp also comes on if a specific steering angle is exceeded when cornering (Add-Light system).

The Vito is fitted as standard with reflection headlamps with integrated foglamps and daytime driving lights.

The Vito exterior mirrors boast a larger field of vision. The mirrors are electrically adjustable and heated to help prevent them steaming up and freezing.

With the reversing camera [1], available as an optional extra in conjunction with COMAND APS, manoeuvring in the Vito becomes simpler and safer:

Built into the licence plate frame on the tailgate, the reversing camera monitors the area behind the vehicle. The image is displayed on the COMAND APS screen when reverse gear is engaged.

You will be delighted with the optionally available Headlamp Assist with light and rain sensor: when darkness begins to fall or when driving through a tunnel the vehicle lighting switches on automatically.

The sensor also detects rainfall on the windscreen, activates the wipers, and even adjusts the wiping speed to the intensity of the rain.
