The optional bi-xenon headlamps with integrated cornering light function, fog lamps and LED daytime driving lights not only illuminate the road and immediate area better: on activating the indicator, the fog lamp on the corresponding side is switched on (cornering light function), and also comes on above a specific steering angle when cornering (Add-Light system).

The Vito exterior mirrors boast a generously-dimensioned field of vision. Optionally, the mirrors can be electrically adjustable and heated – to help them prevent steaming up and freezing.

With the reversing camera [1], available as an optional extra in conjunction with COMAND APS, manoeuvring in the Vito becomes simpler and safer:

Built into the licence plate frame on the tailgate, the reversing camera monitors the area behind the vehicle. The image is displayed on the COMAND APS screen when reverse gear is engaged.

You will be delighted with the optionally available Headlamp Assist with light and rain sensor: when darkness begins to fall or when driving through a tunnel the vehicle lights switch on automatically.

The sensor also detects rainfall on the windscreen, activates the wipers, and even adjusts the wiping speed to the intensity of the rain.
