As an alternative to the "Comfort Data Volume" a customer-owned data volume (e.g., mobile hotspot) must be used depending on the generation of your multimedia system. The connection of the communication module to the mobile network, including the emergency call system, depends on the respective network coverage and availability of the network providers. Please also refer to any instructions in your vehicle's operating manual.

      Exterior The exterior of the B-Class. No matter from which perspective you look at the new B-Class: the design is convincing all along the line.          Dynamic front section with new radiator grille trim Sportiness starts at the very beginning. The front in its new design with sportier bumper and new radiator grille trim with countless small Mercedes stars[1] underlines the dynamic claim of the B-Class at first glance.
        MULTIBEAM LED headlamps See the world in a new light: the adaptive MULTIBEAM LED headlamps[1] in the B-Class impress with an even more precise design. They also provide excellent illumination of your field of vision. The rear lamps also stand out with their exciting design. If you look closer, you can even see the Mercedes-Benz Pattern.
        Sporty diffuser The rear bumper with its black diffuser-look lower section and chrome trim bar emphasises the width and dynamism of the new B-Class from the rear view as well.
        Panoramic sliding sunroof Let more sunlight into your life: the smoothly retracting panoramic sliding sunroof[1] provides a pleasantly bright ambience in the interior, and a refreshing feeling when driving with it open. When viewed from the outside, the large sliding sunroof likewise makes an impressive impact, as it lends lightness and exclusivity to the exterior.
        EASY-PACK tailgate and HANDS-FREE ACCESS This makes loading and unloading the luggage compartment even easier and more convenient. You can conveniently open and close the tailgate[1]by pressing a button, and interrupt the process at any time by pressing it again. HANDS-FREE ACCESS[1] also allows you to open and close the tailgate with a kicking motion under the bumper - very helpful when you come back with heavy shopping bags.
        New light-alloy wheels The wheels play a leading role in giving the new B-Class its sporty character. Give your vehicle a personal, dynamic touch. With light-alloy wheels from 40.6 cm (16-inch) to 48.3 cm (19-inch)[1].

           Multifunction sports steering wheel The multifunction sport steering wheel in nappa leather[1] has a flattened bottom section and deeply embossed grip area – excellent prerequisites for a sporty driving style. Use the touch control panels to operate the most important vehicle functions without having to take your hands off the steering wheel. In addition, the Leather-free Package[1] gives you a completely leather-free interior, which includes the seat covers as well as the steering wheel.
          MBUX multimedia system Even the innovative MBUX multimedia system[2] can still learn: the second generation now remembers your preferred settings even better than before. Enjoy even more comfort and intuitive operation by voice, touch or gestures.
          Resource-saving materials Comfortable for the occupants, good for the environment: the centre seat and backrest of the standard seat covers are made from 100% recycled PET bottles.
          Flexibility The B-Class inspires with plenty of space in compact dimensions and high flexibility for everyday use. Comfortable loading begins with the low loading sill and wide loading aperture. At up to 1540 litres, the load compartment capacity is generous and offers plenty of space for family outings or leisure activities.

            Digital extras Right from the start, your Mercedes-Benz has more to offer than you might at first realise. Depending on your vehicle model, the special equipment you have chosen, the year of manufacture and the country, many Digital Extras for topics such as remote, navigation, charging, GUARD 360° vehicle protection and entertainment are included for a term of 36 months from the date of purchase of the new vehicle[3]. If you would like to continue to benefit from the advantages of the Digital Extras after the initial term, you can renew them with just a few clicks in the Mercedes-Benz Store.
            Digital Extra: MBUX Augmented Reality for Navigation To enable you to find your way in complex traffic situations, MBUX augmented reality for navigation[4] connects the virtual world with the real one. The technology incorporates graphic navigation instructions and traffic information into live images. You can reach your destination quickly, safely and stress-free.[5]
            Inductive charging system and Smartphone Integration Wireless charging: simply place your compatible device in the centre console and charging begins immediately. Smartphone Integration[1] moves the functionality of your device onto the media display. The user interface then enables you to control numerous functions the same way you always do.
            Personalisation This is how the B-Class becomes your B-Class: save and activate certain personalised settings such as the colour of the interior lighting or the seat position directly in your profile.
            Burmester® surround sound system With 12 speakers and a system output of 710 watts, you can enjoy the legendary Burmester® sound. The high-performance speakers deliver first-class surround sound. You can optimise this specifically for the front and rear seats to make your listening experience even more intense.[1]
            Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC Plus DISTRONIC Active Distance Assist[1] automatically adapts your speed to slower vehicles travelling ahead. The desired specified distance can be set in several stages. You won't want to do without this support, especially both in flowing and in slow-moving motorway traffic.[6][7]
            Parking Package with 360° camera Active Parking Assist with 360° camera[1] makes it easier for you to find a parking space and to manoeuvre into and out of parking spaces. You have the choice: park the vehicle yourself with confidence thanks to all-round visibility – or simply have it parked for you.[6]
            Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus With Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus[1], you drive with continuous high beam without dazzling others. The intelligent system excludes oncoming traffic or vehicles in front with highly precise LEDs: This means you do not have to constantly switch to the low beam and can better recognise the road and hazards thanks to the high headlamp range.[6]
            Active Lane Keeping Assist The Active Lane Keeping Assist[1] is an attentive observer: if you unintentionally leave your lane or get dangerously close to other road users, the system can bring you back into your lane with the help of a steering intervention. However, if you still leave the lane, an additional warning will follow in the form of a steering wheel vibration.[6]
            Load Compartment package The Load Compartment Package[1] incorporates additional stowage and connection options such as the 12 V socket. Your car gains variability and becomes a mini power bank, e.g. for your cooling bag when shopping or at the beach.
            THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control THERMOTRONIC[1] controls the individual temperature in two zones. You and your front passenger can thus set your preferred temperature independently of one another. And you never have to readjust, because the sensitive sensors even register changes in conditions, such as sunlight.
            KEYLESS-GO Thanks to the stored access and driving authorisation, the vehicle recognises its owner. All doors can be opened and locked just by touching the door handle. Your KEYLESS-GO[1] vehicle key can simply stay in your pocket.
            GUARD 360° Vehicle Protection Plus GUARD 360° vehicle protection Plus[4] offers all-round monitoring of the vehicle's surroundings. Thanks to the anti-theft alarm system, as well as emergency key deactivation, you will be able to act quickly. On the road, the collision detection function notifies you via the app. And the Stolen Vehicle Help service increases the chance of recovering your property if your vehicle is ever stolen.
            Sidebags in rear The sidebags in the rear[1] can protect the chest area of passengers on the outer rear seats in the event of a severe side impact. To achieve this, air cushions deploy between the door or the side wall trim and the vehicle occupant. Together with the standard windowbags, they can help prevent injuries or reduce their severity.
            Lowered comfort suspension Special tuning of the springs and dampers supports sporty driving - without you having to sacrifice the usual comfort elsewhere. Lowering the suspension by 15 millimetres means that your vehicle hugs the road more visibly as well. This reinforces the impression of dynamism and power.
            DYNAMIC SELECT At the press of a button, DYNAMIC SELECT offers different drive programs with setting options for the engine, transmission, suspension and steering, for instance. With the "Sport" mode, for example, you are on the road in an emphatically dynamic way, whereas with the basic "Comfort" programme you are very balanced. "ECO" focuses on efficiency, saves fuel and money.
            48 V on-board electrical system The revised 4-cylinder petrol engine with mild-hybrid concept and 48 V on-board electrical system plus the latest combustion technology impresses with high efficiency and agility. The belt-driven starter alternator can help to save fuel, assists with a boost function and recovers valuable energy during braking.
            Dual-clutch transmission 7G-DCT/8G-DCT The B-Class comes with an automatic transmission that adapts to your wishes as standard: with the driving mode, you also change the characteristics of the dual-clutch transmission either for efficient driving at low rpm or for impressively high dynamics.
