Information about the recall.

As ordered by the German Federal Motor Vehicle Transport Authority (KBA), Mercedes-Benz introduced mandatory recalls for Mercedes-Benz vehicles in summer 2019. The recalls include the A-Class, B-Class, CLA Coupé and SL Roadster vehicle models. Recalled vehicles are to have their air conditioning systems modified by the Mercedes-Benz service organisation so that the new refrigerant can be used.

Please note: with many models, only a certain production period is affected by the recall. From the model and engine name alone, it is therefore not possible to reliably tell if a vehicle is part of the recall.

**Updating of the VIN checker may lead to unavoidable delays. In isolated cases, the details may therefore lag behind the actual situation and are therefore provided on a conditional basis.
