    1 September 2005 saw the introduction of a two-year, Europe-wide new-vehicle warranty for all Mercedes-Benz passenger cars.

    The contractual warranty undertaking is provided by the national sales organisation that sells you the vehicle. The warranty is valid from the day of vehicle delivery, or from the date of initial registration if this is earlier, and does not have a mileage limit. It supplements the statutory liability for material defects and gives you extra peace of mind for the first two years.

    The Mercedes-Benz new-vehicle warranty is valid in the European Union member states, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.

    When you purchase a used vehicle from us, it has not only been rigorously inspected but also carries the Mercedes-Benz European warranty for at least 12 months in most cases.

    It also maintains your mobility in the event of a breakdown, wherever you happen to be in western Europe. We will repair your car without you paying a single penny for labour costs or – up to a mileage of 100,000 km – for materials. We will also refund labour costs in full for vehicles with a higher mileage.

    If the car that has caught your eye - whether it has the Mercedes star or not - does not come with the Mercedes-Benz European warranty, why not simply ask your dealer.
