"> effectively cuts the emission of small soot particles. The system routes the flow of exhaust gas through a honeycomb structure, which traps the particulate matter. Under appropriate driving conditions, the particulate filter is continuously regenerated. The component will be gradually integrated into more new vehicle models, facelifts and new engine generations, such as the M 264. We then also plan to integrate the particulate filter into the on-going model series.
