The Mercedes-Benz Citan is setting standards: its qualities in the efficiency, safety, sustainability and environment categories impressed the 25 members of the Award's international jury. It's members tested and evaluated 14 new models in the light-duty commercial vehicle segment. By unanimous decision, the Citan took first place!

In the new Citan, attractive looks and superb levels of comfort go hand-in-hand. Its characteristic exterior design stands out from the crowd. A stylishly appointed interior welcomes you as you climb aboard. The many brand-typical comfort features already familiar from other model series also make it clear that the new Citan is a true Mercedes-Benz Van.
The new Citan Panel Van is packed full of good ideas to make your job easier: the variable load compartment has a large volume and a high payload. The vehicle interior is particularly ergonomic: from hard-wearing seats through to the simple operation and the practical stowage facilities.
The Citan Panel Van offers you and your passengers safe passage. An extensive occupant protection system, including 6 airbags, is installed as standard. As an option, you can also choose to be supported by a host of active assistance systems.
The new Citan Panel Van is as reliable as you'd expect a Mercedes-Benz to be and features impressively hard-wearing materials and superb finish quality. Before launch, its robustness was put to the test in a series of challenging Mercedes-Benz summer and winter trials in addition to tough corrosion tests.

The Citan Panel Van impresses in all 3 possible body lengths with loads of cargo space and great flexibility through the optional ladder flap, for example. The cab can accommodate up to 3 people, depending on the variant.
The most important benefits of the Panel Van:
- Multiple variants with the 3 body lengths compact, long and extra long for different cargo space requirements
- Large load compartment capacity with up to 3.8 m³ in the extra long variant, with space for one Euro pallet1 either longitudinally or transversely with the body length compact, 2 Euro pallets transversely with the body lengths long and extra long
- Space for up to 3 persons in the cab with the optional 2-seat passenger bench
- High flexibility when loading – including oversized items – thanks to many optional extras, such as via the ladder flap or the folding co-driver seat
In conjunction with the optional upgraded trim the width between the wheel wells is no longer sufficient for a Europallet.

The infotainment equipment in the new Citan has a solution for almost everything, whether you want to get to your destination more quickly using the latest traffic data whilst charging your mobile device wirelessly, or operate your optional MBUX multimedia system via the high-resolution touchscreen, the buttons on the multifunction steering wheel or voice command. Everything is possible. Also new are the connectivity services from Mercedes me which offer you almost unlimited possibilities for information and entertainment in your small van, as well as additional safety and security.
