        MULTIBEAM LED headlamps See the world in a new light: The adaptive MULTIBEAM LED headlamps[1] in the new B-Class impress with an even more precise design. They also provide excellent illumination of your field of vision. The taillights also shine in a new design. On closer inspection, you can even notice the Mercedes-Benz Pattern.

        Sporty diffuser The rear bumper with its black diffuser-look lower section and chrome trim bar emphasises the width and dynamism of the new B-Class from the rear view as well.
        Panoramic sliding sunroof Let more sunlight into your life: the smoothly retracting panoramic sliding sunroof[1] provides a pleasantly bright ambience in the interior, and a refreshing feeling when driving with it open. When viewed from the outside, the large sliding sunroof likewise makes an impressive impact, as it lends lightness and exclusivity to the exterior.

        EASY-PACK tailgate and HANDS-FREE ACCESS This makes loading and unloading the luggage compartment even easier and more convenient. You can conveniently open and close the tailgate[1]by pressing a button, and interrupt the process at any time by pressing it again. HANDS-FREE ACCESS[1] also allows you to open and close the tailgate with a kicking motion under the bumper - very helpful when you come back with heavy shopping bags.

           Multifunction sports steering wheel The new multifunction sport steering wheel in leather has it all: a new operating concept with newly arranged and capacitive touch control panels allows you to control a wide range of functions such as navigation, telephony or entertainment - without taking your hands off the steering wheel. The steering wheel also detects whether your hands are on the steering wheel through the integrated hands-on detection - for even more safety.
          MBUX multimedia system Even the innovative MBUX multimedia system[1] can still learn: the second generation now remembers your preferred settings even better than before. Enjoy even more comfort and intuitive operation by voice, touch or gestures.

          Resource-saving materials Comfortable for the occupants, good for the environment: the centre seat and backrest of the standard seat covers are made from 100% recycled PET bottles.
          Flexibility The new B-Class inspires with plenty of space in compact dimensions and high flexibility for everyday use.             Wireless charging system and smartphone integration Simply place your smartphone in the tray on the centre console. Regardless of model and brand, compatible devices are charged wirelessly. Smartphone Integration connects the mobile phone with the multimedia system wirelessly via Apple CarPlay™[1] or Android Auto™[2]. This gives you convenient access to the most important apps on your smartphone. You can also use apps from third-party service providers such as Spotify quickly and easily.[3][4]

            Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus Drive with permanent main beams. This virtually turns night into day and takes the strain out of driving.             Active Lane Keeping Assist The Active Lane Keeping Assist[1] is an attentive observer: if you unintentionally leave your lane or get dangerously close to other road users, the system can bring you back into your lane with the help of a steering intervention.             Side impact airbags in rear passenger compartment The side impact airbags in the rear passenger compartment[1] protect the chest area of passengers on the outer rear seats in the event of a severe side impact. Together with the standard windowbags, they offer optimum safety potential to prevent or mitigate injuries. The air cushions deploy between door and occupant.

            Lowered comfort suspension Special tuning of the springs and dampers supports sporty driving - without you having to sacrifice the usual comfort elsewhere. Lowering the suspension by 15 millimetres means that your vehicle hugs the road more visibly as well. This reinforces the impression of dynamism and power.
            DYNAMIC SELECT Simply drive as you want to. At the touch of a button, DYNAMIC SELECT offers different driving modes which determine the settings for the engine, transmission, suspension and steering, for example. With the “Sport” mode, for example, you are on the road in an emphatically dynamic way, while with the basic “Comfort” mode the characteristics are very balanced. “ECO” focuses on efficiency, saving fuel and money.
            48-volt system The revised 4-cylinder petrol engine with mild-hybrid concept and 48-volt onboard network plus the latest combustion technology impresses with high efficiency and agility. The belt-driven starter-generator (RSG) can help to save fuel, assists with a boost function and recovers valuable energy during braking.
            Dual-clutch transmission 7G-DCT/8G-DCT The B-Class comes with an automatic transmission that adapts to your wishes as standard: with the driving mode, you also change the characteristics of the dual-clutch transmission either for efficient driving at low rpm or for impressively high dynamics.
